Meet tomorrow! Please read!

Hi Walruses,

In preparation for our meet tomorrow we wanted to share the heat sheets with you so you can help your swimmer be on time to the heating shed. Please take the time to write your swimmer’s events on their arm or leg prior to coming to the meet. This is a change from the last meet as it makes the start frantic for both the swimmer and coaches if we have to do it at the meet. As always, lanes and heats might change and adjustments will need to be made on the fly but this will help us all.

Heat sheet

The weather tomorrow is going to be cool. Consider bringing sleeping bags and appropriate gear to keep your swimmer warm. Snacks, water and something to do in between races are a great thing. Swimmers need to be supervised at all times please. If you aren’t available to help monitor your swimmer, make sure that you have asked another family to be your swimmer’s point person.

We highly encourage good sportsmanship- complementing the other competitors and cheering on team members. When your swimmer is done, make sure they check in with coach Nicole for a high five and some kudos.

If your family has not communicated that they are not going to be at the meet please do so. This way changes can be made.
