Hello Walrus Families!

It is hard to believe we are emailing about swim team, but here we are! We wanted to get some tentative dates on your schedules as we begin preparing for the summer 2022 swim season.

Tentative Timeline:

May 2022 - parent meeting at the Clubhouse; ongoing summer registration

First Practice: Tuesday May 31st (after the Memorial Day weekend) 6:45-8 AM (older/experienced swimmers) and 8-9 AM (younger swimmers). We will hold only two practice sessions this year - more info about which session to attend later.

Cost: $145 per swimmer; payments will be accepted by check or to our team Venmo account (with a small processing fee). If your swimmer is unsure about participation we will allow them to participate for the first week on a trial basis - all payments will be due by Monday June 5th.

Volunteer Deposit (new this year): $150 refundable deposit per family. We will ask that all families sign up as volunteers for at least two meets. We will hold your deposit check until the end of the season. If you are unable to volunteer we will cash your check in exchange - we have lots of items we need to purchase for the team!

Team Donations: are you looking for a 501C3 non-profit? Willow Springs Swim Team will gladly take your donations! We are in need of a digital clock, new lane lines and other practice items such as kickboards!
