Willow Springs Swim Team Information Meeting

Wednesday, May 11th @ 6:30 at the Clubhouse (5424 White Willow Drive; Fort Collins, CO 80528)

Join us to learn how to sign up your child/children, get information about the team, and meet the coaches.

Who can join?

Anyone 5 to 18 years old. Children must be able to swim at least one pool length (should be able to complete more than one with ease/ have completed level 3 of Splash swim lessons) with a recognizable stroke and must be a Willow Springs Community Association resident.

Not sure if your child wants to join the swim team? Come to the meeting and your child can give it a try for the first four practices (May 31-June 3rd). Please go ahead and fill out the registration form (legalities) and pay by June 6; if your child decides that he/she doesn't want to join the team after all, your payment will be given back to you immediately.

Cost

Registration opens on May 11th. Please register and complete payment by June 6, and the cost per swimmer is $145. Any payment received after June 6th is $155 per swimmer. Fees cover coaching, equipment fees, and parties. All registrations are due by Monday, June 6th. There is a volunteer fee for all families of $100 dollars, easiest if paid by check. If your family volunteers twice for our swim team in a variety of capacities your check will be returned to you at the end of the season.

Schedule

Regular season runs May 31st-July 23rd. State meet is July 29-31. Practices are Monday-Friday from 6:45-8 a.m. for swimmers 10 and over; all younger swimmers from 8-9. Swimmers might be moved around due to skill level. Please share with coach Nicole if your swimmer is going to be absent.

Gear

We do have Walrus gear for sale- caps, t shirts and sweatshirts that Amber Messersmith will be selling and can be ordered through her. Team suits can be purchased at MI Sports in Loveland.
