We can't believe it's already June 9th! We have enjoyed getting to know your awesome kiddos and sharing our love of swimming.

Upcoming Events & To Do List:

-Pay dues if not already done so- $145 per swimmer + $100 Volunteer check (will be returned if your family volunteers for 2 three hour sessions). You can bring checks to the pool during any practice.

Sign up by Sunday for our first meet: all you need to do is indicate that you will be there! Click HERE and then “signup calendar” It is on Wednesday 6/16 @ Huntington Hills pool, it is a relay meet so there are no individual races.

MEET DETAILS

Warmup time: 4:40-5:05

Meet starts at 5:10 (end time approximately 8 pm)

–This is a fun meet- there will be no times recorded but heat winners will receive prizes

–We will have one assigned lane (lane 3) and only be able to swim two swimmers per event

–If you do not sign up by the deadline date (this Sunday 6/11) you will be considered as NOT attending the meet.

–They have a very small pool deck so parents are going to be asked to remain outside the pool area on the grass.

JOBS - Volunteers can sign up through the Green JOBS button. Please sign up- there are a variety of needs! Most volunteer jobs are for our home meets. You can sign up now!

–Interested in learning the rules of swimming or might be willing to be an official?

–HSL (Horsetooth League) Board has arranged for a USA Swimming official to offer a 1 hour training session for team officials and those wanting to volunteer as an official for meets. Training is THIS Sunday, June 12 at 8:00 am at Parkwood Pool (1314 Buttonwood Drive)

The next meet is on June 18th AT HOME!- more details at the beginning of next week (RSVPing and signing your child up for events), but you are able to sign up for volunteer jobs now. Visit our website and click on “signup calendar.”
