Walruses!

The time has come- City Meet is this Friday (6/12) and Saturday (6/13). If you are NOT swimming in the meet, please note that there will be no practice on Friday. If you are swimming in the meet, please find important information below:

Location: Village Green Pool- 1831 Valley Forge Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80526

Dates & Times:

Due to the forecast, we are starting the meet early, at 7:40am, both days.

Friday 6/12 (ages 11 & over): Our assigned warm up time is 7:00am, please get to the pool by 6:30am

Saturday 6/13 (ages 10 & under): Our assigned warm up time is 6:45am, please get to the pool by 6:15am

Set Up & Where to Find Us: This is a big meet- about 18 teams swimming. To minimize running around and looking for each other, the coaches will be stationed under an EZ Up on the pool deck. Please find us and check in when you get to the pool, and before/after each event.

Weather: This weekend is going to be hot, hot, hot. Please plan accordingly with shade, water, electrolytes, sunscreen, etc. This not only applies to swimmers, but families as well. Let’s look out for each other and make sure no one is melting!

Heat Sheets: Please find the heat sheets attached. Physical copies will be available for purchase at the meet, so we would recommend printing one out or keeping an online version saved to your phone.

Volunteers: We still need one additional volunteer for Saturday’s session. If we are unable to get an additional volunteer, the coaches will need to step in which minimizes time with the swimmers.
